About Ginosko Development CompanyGinosko Development Company (GDC) is a rapidly growing family of companies involved in all aspects of affordable housing development, construction, ownership and management. Although the organization was formed in 2002, the roots of its dedication to quality affordable housing reach back more than half a century. Founded by Amin Irving and John Hayes, Ginosko Development Company began by recognizing the growing demands of preserving and establishing affordable housing.
January 2015: Acquired 126 unit market rate multi-family apartment complex in Inkster,Michigan.
July 2014: Awarded 4% LIHTC reservation, $10.5 million in tax exempt bond financing, $4.2 million in HOME funds, and $1 million in MSHDA Preservation funds for a 150 unit mixed-income development in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
February 2014 Funding Round: Awarded $1,500,000 9% LIHTC reservation for 200 unit RAD deal in Ecorse, Michigan.
December 2013: Historic rehab of 47 unit apartment complex in Detroit, Michigan.
May 2013: Ginosko Development Company expands into larger office complex to accommodate for more growth.
